1. William KELL, born 3 Aug 1800 In Chester Co., SC, died 1825. This son remained behind in SC and was reportedly engaged in the study of medicine. I have done very little research on him but was told that he married in SC and left a son who died in Alabama. However, an old journal kept by William Riley KELL states that he married, but left no children.

Jane KELL, born 27 Mar 1802 in Chester Co., SC, died 17 June 1873 in Marion Co., Ill.; married ca 1820 in SC James TELFORD (s/o Samuel & (ELLISON) TELFORD), born 2 Feb 1800 in Chester Co, SC, died 21 Mar 1857 in Marion Co., Ill. Both buried Old Covenanter Cemetery. Jane, her husband and young daughter accompanied Thomas KELL to Illinois. After the death of James TELFORD, Jane married/2 Jarret PURDUE. Issue from M/l, 8 children.
3. John Gaston KELL, born 22 Mar 1804 in Chester Co., SC, died 5 Dec 1854 in York Co., SC; married 1829 in SC Elizabeth Cloud HICKLIN born 8 Apr 1814 in SC, died 5 July 1881 in York Co., SC. Both buried Bullock Creek Cemetery in York Co. Issue, 10 children.
4. Samuel Gaston KELL, born 1 June 1806 in Chester Co., SC, died 4 May 1864 in Marion Co., Ill.; married 8 Feb 1827 in Marion Co. Jane FULTON (d/o David & Margaret Caroline (HILL) FULTON), born 17 Mar 1809 in Randolph Co., Ill., died 1 Dec 1880 in Marion Co. Both buried Kell Cemetery (across the road from Rabbit Grove Cem.). Issue, 13 children.
5. Martha Ann KELL, born 9 May 1808 in Chester Co., SC, died 30 Dec 1867 in Marion Co., Ill.; married 21 June 1825 in Jefferson Co., Ill. Spruce Alexander BOGGS (s/o James BOGGS), born 9 Aug 1801 in NC, died 1 Oct 1870 in Marion Co., Ill. Both buried Old Covenanter Cemetery. Issue, 14 children, including triplets.

(Margaret Ann was d/o William Calvin KELL & W/1 Elizabeth Ellen WOOTERS; granddaughter of James KELL Jr. & W/2 Jane RAINEY; and great-granddaughter of the immigrant James KELL.). Issue, 9 children.
