Alexander was born 1770 in Antrim Ireland thought to have died in S.C. married Susie Gilliespie. They had five children:
1. James A. Kell born Oct20, 1799 died Sept 11 1894, married Jane Sproul
b. Sept 7, 1795, died 1854.
James and his family moved to Gibson Co Indiana sometime prior to 1829 as his child born in 1829 is only one not listed as born in S.C. parts of this line live there today.
James moved to Walnut Hill, Illinois late in life to be near his Uncle Thomas Kell and is buried there. (this is my line via John V. J.M.KELL).
James and Jane had 6 children, William S., Alexander Riley,
John Vance, James S. Mary Jane, and Susanna
2. Sarah Kell born 1802 married John Rodman a 1st cousin.
3. Samuel Kell who had a son John Kell
4. Dr. John Wilson Kell married Anna Wright
a son John Kell
5. Alexander Kell Jr.
